Facilities form the structure of any music program, and we take them seriously at ACCM. To prepare for careers in music, students work in classrooms, and performance spaces that emulate the conditions found in real situations. Students learn the fundamental and enduring qualities shared by great music and explore music technology applications in the most up-to-date educational facilities possible in contemporary music education.
Classrooms
ACCM's classrooms are specifically designed for audio and video presentations of music instruction and are equipped with keyboards, stereo sound systems, overhead projectors, staved chalkboards, and classroom seating for 10- 15 students. Large classes are held in rooms which are outfitted for audio, video and computer systems, and overhead and slide projectors, and generally contain grand pianos as well.
